Do you HATE coming up with your own word problems? Need something that adds a bit more rigor to your daily routine. This unit has everything you need in an easy to use and ready to print format!
This unit includes 31 weeks of word problem, four problems a week (Monday – Thursday). This gives the teacher a little wiggle room for the week because we all know we have those fun ‘surprises’ where you just can’t fit everything in!
Each problem for the week is based around a specific concept, (See the table of contents for the concepts). The weeks do NOT have to go in order. Use the table of contents to grab the weeks you need to match your own math curriculum.
There are two versions of each week. The first gives a more broken down step by step guide for the students on how to solve the problem. The other version (at the bottom of the packet) gives the problem, work space, and space for their answer and explanation. You can use either or both to help differentiate for your students!
Some of the problems in this unit provide a Part A/Part B scenario to help students prepare for those types of problems on upcoming standardized tests.
