Lesson 1: Students will begin to understand the difference between poetry, drama, and prose AND understand all of their characteristics.

Lesson 2: Students will analyze a poem in detail.

Lesson 3: Students will focus on drama by analyzing a script and the unique characteristics of a drama.

Lesson 4: Students will identify the theme of a poem, a drama, and prose writing.

Lesson 5: Students will demonstrate comprehension of prose, poetry, and drama.

All activities are more hands-on than normal ‘worksheets’. Direction pages and original poems, drama scripts, and prose texts are also included! A final assessment, 3 graphic organizers, bookmark, anchor chart, craft-ivity, & center are all also included!
