Description
If you’re looking for a FUN way to review asking questions, this is it! This print-and-go game (digital version included) is a great way to practice asking many different types of questions during reading, any time of the year. Even better, it comes with a nonfiction text for students to read and question!
This asking questions game includes:
-
all game pieces, the teacher just provides dice & something to write on
-
directions page for students
-
a nonfiction text
-
link to the digital version
In this game, players will read a nonfiction text together to start the game. Then, player 1 takes a question card. The player must ask a question about the nonfiction text. Each card challenges students to ask a different type of question! The student writes that question on a white board or paper. If everyone agrees that the question fits the description on the card, the player rolls the dice and moves on the game board. The first player to make it to the end of the game board wins!
Other than printing out the game supplies, separating, and providing a dice, there is no other prep for the teacher! This makes for a great center activity, or a stand-alone game!
