Are you students bored of worksheets when you’re teaching Author’s Purpose? This fun activity gets students up and out of their seats to help review the author’s purpose of a text.
The four author’s purposes in this resource are Persuade, Inform, Entertain, and Describe.
The 4 Corner Game is easy and requires very little prep. Students read sentences on the slides and then move to the appropriate corner of the room that matches their answer. You can follow the game up with an assessment and reflection to check your class’s understanding.

- An assessment w/ reflection section for the lesson
