Back to School Context Clue Activity

Need something interesting and fun during back to school or any time during the school year, to help with context clues? Here you go! This activity can be used in a variety of ways: small group, center, whole group, etc.

Students will read cards with sentences. In each sentence is a word used by ‘teachers’. Students will use context clues from the sentences to help figure out the meaning of the ‘teacher’ word. A recording sheet and answer key are both included as well as a context clues anchor chart poster. 10 cards in all are included in the activity.
