Table of Contents, Index, and Glossary Fall Printables

Description

Make sure your students can USE the important sources in a given text: table of contents, index, & glossary! I like having the students not only USE these sources but also be able to distinguish between them and know when to use them.

I’ve developed this activity to help with just that! Included in this packet are 4 fall themed mini book’s sources that include a TOC, Index, and Glossary (and cover page) for each book. The sources are scaffolded (first one is easiest and last one is hardest).

Each page comes with a page of 12 questions to answer.

Also included is a cut and glue sorting activity, a blank mini book for students to create their own TOC/I/G pages, and finally a mini assessment over the topics.
