Digital Resources

With modern technology alive, even in most modern-day classrooms, the use of digital activities and resources is on the rise.  Student engagement, exposure to technology, and student personalization are all major benefits of using tech-based lessons.  Below are my most popular digital resources that you can try in your classroom!

Digital Resources for the Elementary Classroom

10-Minute Reading and Math Interventions

Reading and Math interventions don’t have to be time-consuming. Quick, easy, and specific activities can help students achieve their goals! My Reading and Math Interventions resources are just that!  Each page is designed to be completed in no more than 10 minutes! There are over 300 student pages with 12 different reading skills and 15 math skills. Each student page comes with a 1/2 page teacher lesson plan.  This is great for volunteers, subs, push-in help, or teacher aides!  Lesson plans include a breakdown of the activity, exactly what to say to introduce the activity to the students, explicit and sequential directions, and a wrap-up with deep conversational questions to keep students thinking about the activity has been completed!

There are 10+ pages for each skill included. The pages are numbered #1 – 10+ and increase in rigor as you go up. So intervention #1 is the easiest or highest intervention need and #10 is the hardest and lowest intervention need. You can have students complete all ten or pick and choose based on the student’s needs!  Also included are tracking pages so you can easily keep track of which student has completed which intervention pages! Super easy and organized!

Phonics Worksheets

Are your higher readers still in need of phonics worksheets? My higher readers were always in need of phonics games and centers but with a bit more rigor to them and those phonics activities are hard to find! Print & Digital provided!  I designed these phonics worksheets to be ready to use and engaging for my higher readers who still needed to focus on specific phonics rules.

Inside the packet, you’ll find two pages per phonics skill. The students read the given passage 3 times, each time highlighting specific words that match the phonics skill being focused on.  After finding the words, they then sort the words according to the different spelling patterns they have found. The chart for sorting isn’t labeled because I want the students to LISTEN to the sounds of the words instead of just looking for the given letters. This is to help challenge them.

Text Structure Coloring

Text Structure of nonfiction is a difficult skill for students to understand. Let’s help them by seeing different text structures side by side to analyze and understand, oh and use crayons too! Both a print and digital version is included in this resource!  Digital versions also included! This includes a Google Slides version, PowerPoint version, and jpeg images for See Saw!

This product does BOTH and throws in some crayon action as well 🙂  There are 4 pages of topics in this activity pack: dolphins, baseball, insects, and weather. Each page has 4 short passages about the topic using one of the text structures: cause/effect, sequence, compare/contrast, descriptive.  Students choose the structure and prove it by identifying evidence in the text with a specific color of crayon. They take it a step further by choosing one passage and filling in a G.O with the information from the text.

This activity pack also includes 3 passages allowing students the opportunity to understand how knowing the structure helps with their comprehension. The three passages are paired with a graphic organizer and 4 comprehension questions.
